Welcome to the Uxbridge Post-Vietnam War Monument website.

At the time of this writing, a committee has been formed to create a monument to honor the men and women of Uxbridge that have volunteered service in the armed forces since the end of the Vietnam era. Such a monument will include the names of those citizens that answered the call and stood ready to place themselves in harm's way. Each swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies. Each was ready to uphold our ideals and way of life with their own lives.

Designing the monument is a long process and input from the citizens of the town is welcome. As time goes by and progress is made, information will be posted on this site.

The committee usually meets every first and third Wednesday of the month. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Check the events link at the left for time and location of the meetings.

Look here for future events to raise funds for the completion of the monument. If you would like to donate to this cause, use the link at the left.

Respectfully,

Ken Trajanowski
Veterans' Services Director
